My legal team from YTL LLP sent an official letter to
@MEXC_Official
containing the following questions:

1. The App is run by MEXC
2. Mr JohnConstantineX is a customer of MEXC with UID 63218153
3. Mr JohnConstantineX holds the account with the trading platform
4. The account is indeed frozen because of an alleged breach of risk control rules
5. Derrick is indeed an employee of MEXC and is a lawful representative of MEXC to liaise with Mr JohnConstantineX, and
6. It is MEXC`s normal practice to invite clients to Singapore to complete the KYC procedures personally.

They requested a reply by May 27.

In the end, MEXC did not respond by May 27, and the lawyers had to send an additional letter.

Then, on May 30, MEXC finally replied to the letter. However, the only clear statement they made was that I am a client of the MEXC platform and that my account is under risk control.

But why didn’t MEXC answer the other questions?
It was an official legal letter.

Do they not know what to reply?
Or perhaps they simply have nothing to say?

Also:
They block traders for 365 days without any specific reasons;
They withdraw money from a trader's account, leaving $0 and deleting the entire account history;
They use an army of unverified bots on Twitter to maintain the exchange's image;
They violate their own user agreements by requiring a personal visit to Singapore or elsewhere;
They have no legal license, no virtual asset license, and in many countries, Mexc is on the potentially fraudulent list;
And so on.

Instead of clarifying the situation regarding the account blocking, Global Head of Customer Service at
@MEXC_Official
, Mr. Derrick, first deleted the chat, and upon a repeated inquiry, blacklisted the trader.
This shows MEXC’s true attitude toward its traders! The main thing is that they blocked the money in the account, and they don’t care about anything else.

"Dear Mr., I contacted Derrick, mentioned him daily in the chat using his username to read my message, eventually he read and deleted my correspondence even though I wrote to him respectfully and have been using their platform for a long time and asked him to remove the risk control that resulted in the $100,000 being blocked. How can Mexc participate in the Blockchain Life Forum?

If thousands of people have been affected by Mexc's actions. I alone have already gathered 220 people on my Telegram channel.
Rafael Satoshi gathered 1,554 people in a week.

The money has been illegally withheld for a year, and some traders have had their money debited from their Mexc accounts, and their history has been cleared.

Our preliminary research into MEXC raises significant concerns about potential fraudulent activity. We highlight the following suspicious elements for your consideration:

Regulatory Status: MEXC is headquartered in the Seychelles and explicitly states that its services are unavailable in several jurisdictions, including China and Singapore. The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), responsible for regulating securities and futures markets in Hong Kong, has placed MEXC on its alert list as an unregulated entity. For more details, see: https://sfc.hk/en/alert-list/3016.

SFC fraud Warning: The SFC has also issued a notice regarding suspected virtual asset-related fraud linked to “MEXC” (https://apps.sfc.hk/edistributionWeb/gateway/EN/news-and-announcements/news/doc?refNo=24PR21). The notice alleges that MEXC lured victims into social media or messaging groups under the guise of offering free investment advice, directed them to MEXC-operated websites, and encouraged deposits into designated bank accounts. Victims subsequently faced difficulties withdrawing funds—a pattern that appears consistent with your experience.

Inconsistent Operations: Your documents indicate that MEXC invited you to visit its office in Singapore for a Know Your Customer (KYC) process to unfreeze your account. However, as noted above, MEXC is not permitted to operate in Singapore, casting doubt on the legitimacy of this request. We would need to verify whether such an office exists.

Given these findings, there is a real risk that your situation may involve a scam or fraudulent activity. To assess this further, we would need additional details, such as the method and destination of your fund transfers to establish the account. Should fraud be confirmed, our recommended strategy would require adjustment accordingly, for example, by reporting the matter to the authorities."

One of the victims of the

exchange, whose account with 160,000 dollars was blocked, informed me of the following:

– Some time ago, MEXC shut down its legal entity and replaced its founders and directors.
– MEXC lost lawsuits in the Netherlands and the USA.

Based on this information, an English auditing company concluded that MEXC will follow the fate of the FTX exchange.

Today marks exactly 8 months since my account on
@MEXC_Official
, along with all my funds, has been blocked for a whole year.
Why is MEXC holding not only the profits from trading but also MY DEPOSIT? Those were MY MONEY, and AMLBot confirmed they are clean.
Why have they still not responded to the legal inquiries from my legal team, YTL LLP?
Why is the Singapore police ignoring my requests, given that MEXC is based in Singapore and that’s exactly where I was invited for “verification”?
Why is MEXC a participant of the Blockchain Life forum in Dubai on October 28–29, if they are unlawfully withholding traders’ funds — and in some cases wiping balances to zero and deleting histories?
So many questions, and no answers…

One of the subscribers of my Telegram channel dedicated to MEXC account blockings wrote to me that
@MEXC_Official
deducted all the money from his account — that’s 8,200 dollars — and deleted the entire account history.

And what is he supposed to do now?
Where is the court ruling on the confiscation of assets?
Of course, there isn’t one — this is simply theft on the part of MEXC.
